Personal Protective Equipment
PPE | Personal Protective Equipment
PPE, also known as Personal Protective Equipment, refers to the protective gear thatís worn over the body in hazardous work environments. The types of PPE used will depend on the work conditions employees could be exposed to, such as physical, chemical, biological, electrical hazards, and more. PPE includes a large selection of gear, such as gas masks, respirator masks, face masks, disposable gloves, disposable coveralls, face shields, hard hats, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer and much more.
Infection Control PPE
In medical settings, such as clinical labs, hospitals, doctorsí offices or emergency vehicles, the risk of exposure to bacteria, bodily fluids, and cross-contamination runs high.
